Checkoutbay now includes a comprehensive discount system with four types:
- Temporary discounts - Set time-limited sales on specific products or categories
- Volume discounts - Offer tiered pricing that rewards bulk purchases
- Order minimum spend - Provide discounts when customers reach spending thresholds
- Voucher codes - Create campaign-specific discount codes for marketing
All discounts are applied automatically at checkout and can be combined with existing pricing rules.
Multilingual Product Descriptions
Product descriptions can now be translated into 8 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Thai, and Arabic.
- Added new long description field with HTML support for rich formatting
- Both short and long descriptions support full translations
- Content automatically displays in the customer’s selected language
Invoice Payments
Added invoice payments as an alternative to Stripe for businesses that prefer billing customers after delivery.
- Generate unique invoice IDs for each order
